Shoppapalooza!

Is S's day off so we decided to spend the day in pursuit of various necessities for our new house... first on the list, apparently, is a squirrel feeder. Yep. And yes, it's something S desperately wants... did I mention it is entirely possible she was dropped on her head (a lot) as a baby and/or small child? So... first stop squirrel feeder... then some deck lanterns (that I want) and a unique and lovely piece of furniture -not sure what to call it - that we both like... will figure out who gets it when we see it... we love Marketplace! although it is hard to see things you really really like then realize you can't go see it/buy it because it is in a different county and the travel restrictions are still in place (wah wah wah)... but we are finding lots of things locally - so many good deals on antiques! but unless it is something that one or both of us really really want and is a splendid price, we are holding off until we get possession of Our House.... so for now its just bits and bobs... like squirrel feeders and such...
But before we committed our shoppage, since all were to pick up late afternoon, we decided it was too nice a day to stay in (sunny and 20 degrees)... so we checked the map and picked a road we hadn't gone on before (one of the few!!!) while still remaining in our county... so headed down to Aylesford Lake and then Lake George... both provincial parks - there are beaucoup lakes and small provincial parks here! On the way we came across a sign to Brigadoon Village - intriguing - turns out it is a government sponsored camp and facilities for children with health issues etc... very cool...
well as you can imagine we needed a break after all that driving and looking at lovely scenery... so off to Jonny's en route to car pickup (my Tiggy was in for regular service) and then... SHOPPAGE...
finally off to pick up our treasures and then home....
A nice day!
