Christmas Day

Well... not a great day - as I am sure a lot of people found...  S was in tears, missing everyone so much... seems so far from home on a day that we should/could usually be with friends and family...  

It was a lovely day, cold but sunny, so we decided to go for a long drive to cheer us up (it did)... went down to Middleton - some very pretty communities along the way!   took us a couple of hours and we were both in a better frame of mind when we got home.    Then I had a bit of a meltdown because of Mr Popper (another spraying incident - he is still so very unhappy and unsettled....).    So we just had dinner and watched some Amazon Prime (I LOVE Amazon!!!) and went to bed knowing that tomorrow would be a better day and Christmas 2021 will rock.
