another lovely day...

since our mail-forwarding / PO box situation has finally been straightened out, we went into New Minas to cancel the PO box there... was such a gorgeous day we decided to head up to "the mountains" to The Lookoff (elevation 597 feet) to see what else we could see in that area... gorgeous snowy landscape of the Minas basin!   We then headed north of The Lookoff as far as the road went - all the way up to Scott's Bay and Split Cove Provincial Park - what a spectacular view!!!  its only 15 min or so out of Canning and is a cute little community with glorious waterfront views... hmmm..... must check property prices... it feels a little remote but....

home again, dinner, then S headed out for her first shifts at her new job...
